Colonel Larry Linder was born in Fowler, CA in 1950 and graduated from Clovis High School (CA) in 1968. He began his military service upon receiving his draft notice for Vietnam in 1969. He transferred into the California Army National Guard 40th Battalion 2/160th Mechanized Infantry Unit, serving stateside during the Vietnam War Era. During this time, he began a 46-year career in the insurance business, starting his own insurance brokerage and corporation in 1976 after working for 5 years as an agent for Farmers Insurance Group.
In 1975 he graduated from the California Military Academy as a 2nd Lt, Infantry. He commanded combat support platoons and was also a member of the National Guard State Rifle Team. After a time away from the military, Col Linder was assigned in 1992 to the State Military Reserve under General Robert Thrasher AG for the California ARNG. Col Linder served as the Secretary to the General Staff under MG Ronald Markarian and later served as Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Affairs. In 1998, Col Linder was appointed as Deputy Director of the California Selective Service system. In 1999, he was awarded the National Infantry Medal for Distinguished Service with the Primicerius Device.
Col Linder retired in 2001 but continued his service in various civic and military organization leadership roles including CA Central Valley Chapter President of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and as a member of the Corporate Membership Committee for AUSA National.
In 2017, Col Linder sold his insurance business to his son Cameron, but continues to work as a Loss Prevention specialist for Rednil Insurance Brokers, the new name of the brokerage he founded back in 1976.
Col Linder was appointed CEO and President of the MG Ronald H. Markarian Charitable Foundation, founded by MG Markarian in 2019.
He currently lives in Washougal, WA with his wife Linda and enjoys working in his barn/museum and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife.

Cameron Linder graduated as the #1 ranked US History major from the US Air Force Academy in 2008. He served 6 years as an acquisitions officer managing multi-billion-dollar programs, reaching the rank of Captain before separating and joining his father in the niche insurance business. In 2017, he purchased the business from his father and now leads a national team of insurance professionals, specializing in insuring bowling centers and pickleball clubs. He lives in Washougal, WA with his wife Tracee (USAFA class of 09) and their two sons.
Secretary/Treasurer of the MG RHM Charitable Foundation
Linda (McKenzie) Linder was born in Selma, CA in 1955. She graduated from Selma High School in 1973 and Fresno State University in 1978 (BA Social Work) and became a secondary teacher in the Clovis Unified School District where she would teach for a total of 33 years, primarily at the high school level teaching both US and World History subjects. She also served as a teacher/coach for History Day, Mock Trial, and Academic Decathlon teams, as well as coaching swimming, soccer, and volleyball.
In 1996 she left teaching and went to school to become an RN, earning her BSN degree in nursing at Fresno State where she worked at the Fresno VA Hospital in Critical Care, and at St Agnes Hospital ER before returning to teaching in 2001. She continued her love of all things history and earned an MS in History in 2009 from Fresno State through the Teaching American History grant program for teachers.
Mrs. Linder retired from teaching in 2017 and moved to Washougal, WA where she currently resides with her husband Larry. She enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband Larry, working part-time for her son’s insurance business, spending time with her church family, and especially engaging with her four grandchildren, all of whom live in Washington state.

Samuel Matthews is a retired military veteran of the Viet Nam era. He served for 20 years in the United States Navy as a Diver and Nuclear Submarine Weapons Officer (1969 – 1989). Presently, he is a Gospel preacher (evangelist), serving and worshiping God with the Liberty Northwest church of Christ (Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:47; Romans 16:16) meeting in Portland, Oregon His wife Cynthia and he live in Gresham, Oregon. David Moeglein recently joined the RHM Foundation Board in 2024. He is passionate about leaving no serviceman or veteran behind. He has lived most of his life on the West Coast, growing up in Alaska, and living in Washington State and California as well. He and his lovely wife Diane have called Vancouver their home since 2010. He has worked in the mental health field as a social worker and psychiatric nurse for over 20 years. In 1991 he enlisted in the Quartermaster Corps of the US Army and was commissioned an artilleryman in 1994. He is a life member of 40 et 8 and serves as the 2nd Vice Commander of the Korean War & Defense Veterans Association in Vancouver. He also belongs to the Revolutionary War Veterans Association, where he is a volunteer instructor in training for their marksmanship training program, Project Appleseed. He is the Artillery Liaison for Vancouver’s Community Military Appreciation Committee and the Washington National Guard.
