Mission Statement:
The mission of the Major General RHM Charitable Foundation is to promote, honor, and help all who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States, both past and present, as well as support causes and projects which will reflect positively on veterans and the institutions which support them.
We are newly formed, small non-profit organization dedicated to helping local military or veterans with financial needs or organizations with needs that align to the Foundation criteria. As such, we are currently limiting our scope of grants to those individuals who reside in CA, OR or WA (including those living on bases in those states). Organizations who apply do not have to be within these three states, but the preference is to help organizations in the three state area.
Grant requirements:
1. Awards can be given to individuals or organizations who have some connection to the Armed Services of the United States.
2. Amount of grants will vary depending on the need and the judgement of the board of directors.
3. Currently, individual grants are limited to residents of CA, OR, and WA.
Categories of Grants:
1. Monetary grants to assist service members and veterans who are experiencing financial hardships not covered by government, insurance, or other aid programs.
2. Scholarship Grants for higher learning, training, or vocational skills
3. Historical military preservation grants
4. Awards to recognize excellence and achievement by extraordinary individuals
